Kyra has not stopped singing since her Mum bought her a karaoke machine at the age of eight! Since then, influenced by the greats like Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston, she has spent many years singing, dancing and acting in bands, theatres, solo performances and shows.
Her career highlights have included TV appearances on Michael Barrymore’s “My Kind of People” when just 12 years old, the later rounds of X-Factor, winning a singing completion in conjunction with Anglia TV performing at Alexander Palace and performing Songs of Praise on Europe’s widest stage in Thursford, Norfolk. She has also starred in many Theatre performances including at the Players Theatre, the oldest stage in the West End of London.
Kyra is hugely experienced fronting live bands creating a natural connection to audiences as she spreads her energy and enthusiasm across the dancefloor. Her stage presence is only matched by her powerful voice, beautiful tones and wide singing range, helped by coaching including with David Laudat (X-Factor, George Michael, Take That).
More recently, Kyra is extremely happy to have signed a publishing deal to enable her to pursue her songwriting with greater energy and focus, as well as collaborating with other artistes.
